Fabrice Pesin joins SPB as EVP Insurance

The SPB Group announces the appointment of Fabrice Pesin as EVP Insurance. He shall report directly to Jean-Marie Guian, CEO of SPB Group.

Fabrice Pesin is 48 years old and graduated from Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole Nationale de la Statistique et de l'Administration Économique. He has enjoyed a brilliant career in banking, insurance and finance in both the private and public sectors, in particular within France's banking and insurance regulator (ACPR), where he closely followed insurance broking. Fabrice started his career in 1997 at the Ministry of Economy and Finance, before joining the German Federal Ministry of Finance in 2001. After working as a financial advisor at the French embassy in Berlin from 2003 to 2004, he returned to the French Ministry of Economy and Finance, first as head of the Bureau for fiscal studies then, in 2007, as Deputy director of insurance in the Treasury department. In 2010, he joined the ACPR and became its Deputy Secretary General. In 2015, he was appointed National Credit Mediator and President of the Business Finance Observatory by the President of the French Republic. In 2018, he turned his attention to medium-sized, private-sector companies when he joined the family-owned mortgage broker, CAFPI, as Director of Strategy and Innovation.

The appointment of Fabrice Pesin finalises the new organisation of the Group. The Executive Committee, chaired by Jean-Marie Guian, comprises three Business Units (Insurance, Services and International) and four support departments (Finance and Strategy, Human Resources, Communication, Audit and Risk). The Supervisory Board is chaired by Yves Lebidois.
